Spica Yacht
Spica Yacht is a unique classic sailing yacht built in South Africa in 1986 and designed by the renowned naval architect Bruce Roberts. With her two impressive 43‑foot masts and solid ocean‑going construction, Spica combines the timeless charm of traditional sailing with modern comfort and safety.
Based in Funchal, Madeira, Spica offers private charter experiences along the island’s spectacular coastline. Each voyage is designed to be personal and memorable, allowing guests to relax, enjoy the sea, and discover Madeira from a truly unique perspective.
The yacht accommodates up to 10 guests and features two comfortable suites with electric bathrooms (one with bathtub), a spacious lounge, Bluetooth audio system, full galley, refrigerator, and 1,000 liters of fresh water. The yacht is equipped with modern Raymarine navigation electronics, including radar, depth sounder, and onboard Wi‑Fi, ensuring both safety and connectivity at sea.
On deck, guests can enjoy generous outdoor spaces with two dining tables, a swimming ladder, hot and cold shower, dinghy, electric windlass, and a gas BBQ, perfect for relaxed meals while sailing along Madeira’s coast.
Bar service or meals can be arranged upon request, ensuring every experience aboard Spica Yacht is tailored to the wishes of each guest.

The Spica Yacht, built in South Africa in 1986, was designed by Bruce Roberts. Robustly built, it has two 43-foot masts and has made several ocean voyages. With luxurious interior and all the amenities for a trip to any destination. Contemplating the coast of Madeira and the flavors of the sea.
We favor the concept of “Private Charter” and in this sense we always meet the wishes of our customers by providing and promoting sensations and experiences.
The vessel has capacity for 10 people and has two suites with electric bathrooms (one with bath); Bluetooth radio, stove, oven, extractor fan, refrigerator, 1 000 liters of fresh water, and a large lounge. Outside there is a dinghy, electric chain hoist, bathing ladder, emergency ladder, 2 dining tables, charcoal BBQ, hot and cold shower. All electronics and radar is Raymarine.
